I am a 38 year old foodie and fitness fanatic! That’s quite a conundrum, let me tell you. What this means is that I love my food so moderation and my love of fitness is all the more important.
Facts about me:
- I live and work in Portland, OR
- I may be one of the only people I know who actually likes their job.
- I had weight loss surgery, specifically VSG, 12/5/13.
- In May 2015, I was down 120 pounds even.
- As of October 2016, I’d put on 34 pounds as a combined result of a cortisone shot in my shoulder, a change in birth control and, frankly, poor food choices.
- My goal has always been, and remains, 160. But I’d be pleased to get to 170.
- I have done ALL kinds of fitness. Bootcamps, yoga, PiYo, Zumba, weight lifting, circuit training, spin class, Hammer and Chisel, 21 day fix, etc. I definitely have my favorites.
- I always have at least one injury I’m fighting against, but I never give up.
- I got married in October 2016!!
- I’m a great cook, but I do better at a recipe than “winging it.”
- I’m an even better hostess. I love entertaining. One person, small groups, large groups, huge parties, other people’s parties… I love it all π
- I love blogging, vlogging, sweat checks, food finds… all the social media things. π
- But I don’t twitter or and I rarely snapchat. I’ll stick with Instagram and Facebook and flyegirlfitness.com … that’s more than I can manage as it is. π
